Heat Transfer Foil - Burnt Sienna

Heat Transfer Foil is a two step process. You cannot cut the foil on your cutter, as its adhered to a very thin film. When applied to a sticky adhesive it will transfer from the film to the adhesive during pressing in your heat press. You must use a Foil Adhesive for the foil to adhere to your garment.

To make a foil transfer first you will cut and weed your Foil Adhesive just like you would any standard color of HTV, you heat press it to your garment for 2-3 seconds at 280°F and peel the carrier. Next you cut a piece of foil slightly larger than your image and lay it color side up. Place a teflon cover sheet on top and press for 10 seconds. Allow the foil to cool completely, then pull the foil liner away slowly. You will now have a shiny foil transfer that will look incredible.

You might notice small gaps in the foil on your garment, that's because heat transfer foils are very thin and sensitive to surface irregularities. This gives the foil a bit of a distressed look that's very popular. If you want an even more distressed look, crumple the foil before heat application. Follow up with another foil color to create unique one of kind looks.

Please Note: Excessive heat can damage the foil color and release capabilities. Avoid temperatures over 310° F
