A glow-in-the-dark embroidery thread available in 7 luminous colors! Ordinary embroidery thread in the daytime but turn out the lights and see the glow! This 40wt. glow-in-the-dark thread used for sewing, quilting and embroidery.
GLOWY, from Gunold. This glow in the dark thread has long lasting luminosity. Light, whether sunlight or artificial light, is stored in the yarn and emitted in the dark. GLOWY is a 100% Polyester, 40 weight thread (120/2 den). Glowy is available in 1,100 yard mini-kings in 7 colors.
They can be recharged over and over again by exposing the thread to the light. The threads can be laundered on a delicate setting and are dryer safe on low heat. Try to avoid direct heat such as ironing or high temperature dryers as this can dramatically diminish the glow effect.
